A few weeks ago, THALMANN delivered the first complete line for optionally fully automatic sheet metal profile production to a German customer:
The Sieger Thüle GmbH & Co. KG from Friesoythe in Lower Saxony. Managing Director Jürgen Sieger and his team are highly satisfied – because since commissioning, the machine has been running at full speed around the innovative TD double folder.

-Yes, I am very, very satisfied with the machine and would make the investment again at any time, reports company boss Jürgen Sieger. -Really amazing how fast and smooth the whole system runs. One cog meshes with the other. My employees are also enthusiastic: about the technology, the handling, the manufacturing efficiency, the flexible application options and, last but not least, the physical relief. In short, the machine is our new centerpiece and will ensure that our family business remains powerful in the future.

Left in, front out and the sheet metal profile is finished
The lateral sheet feeder automatically draws in the sheets, depending on the profile, the automatic sheet turning unit is used, and the automatic sheet removal system conveys the finished profiles to the edging buffer. The resulting advantages are obvious: the complex manufacturing process is decisively simplified and production efficiency is sustainably increased. Valuable time and high costs can be saved as a result – especially personnel costs, since the entire system can be operated by just one employee. In addition, the risk of accidents is minimized and the health of employees is protected.

The finished folded sheet profiles are taken over by the automatic
sheet removal unit and conveyed to the edging buffer for easy removal.

The finished folded parts can be safely and quickly removed from the buffer unit while production continues.
The production of edging parts thus becomes an automatically repeating and efficient production cycle.

The system can be used in full or partial automation mode, as the removal unit can be stowed under the edging buffer within a few seconds.
This means that jobs can also be completed without the full automation.
