FRESER SHANGHAI REFRIGERATION, a subsidiary company of SANDEN HOLDINGS CORPORATION, focuses on commercial kitchen refrigerators. Thanks to high quality and advanced cooling technology, FRESER is the main supplier for KFC and McDonalds and one of three qualified suppliers for Coca-Cola.
High risk during bending process.
All panels on commercial kitchen refrigerators and related are 0.8 mm 304 stainless steel with dimensions 1200 mm x 1600~1800 mm. During bending process, there is a high risk of leaving die marks and scuffs when handling blanks with press brake.
– Any mark at all left on a stainless surface is totally unacceptable, General Manager Mr Reynold emphasizes.
CIDAN FORMA eliminates die marks and scuffs.
Mr Reynold returned to CIDAN thanks to his good experience using CIDAN’s power folder, FUTURA 30 Combi/Multifold, purchased by SANDEN in 2013. The FUTURA was the predecessor to CIDAN’s newly launched FORMA 30.
– The CIDAN FUTURA 30 has served our company well because the well-controlled bending process eliminated the risk of die marks. Scuffs were also eliminated thanks to the supportive back gauge, which also greatly reduces and facilitates handling of blanks, Mr Reynold states.
Easier to process blanks than ever before.
No die marks, no scuffs, less and easier handling, and as a bonus in relation to production of stainless kitchen tables for KFC, optimal folding can now replace welding, meaning higher efficiency and better appearance.
– CIDAN’s FUTURA makes it much easier to process the blanks, compared to press brake, as the excellent material support from the back gauge means it is no longer necessary to flip the material when bending the blanks. It was therefore easy for me to recommend CIDAN´s FORMA to our sister company FRESER SHANGHAI REFRIGERATION, says Sanden’s Production Manager Mr. Wang.
